International Students’ Experience in Latvia
The University of Latvia, in cooperation with the research company InnoMatrix, is conducting an applied research study focused on the experience of international students studying in Latvia. The study aims to collect structured and comparable data on academic, social, and practical aspects of studying and living in Latvia from the perspective of international students.
The research is based on an online survey conducted in English and targeted at international students currently enrolled in Latvian higher education institutions. Participation is voluntary and anonymous, and the survey takes approximately 10–15 minutes to complete. All data are processed and analysed exclusively in aggregated form, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with research ethics and data protection requirements.
The results of the study will be used for scientific analysis and evidence-based assessment of international student experiences, supporting higher education institutions, policymakers, and other stakeholders in improving study conditions, integration measures, and internationalisation strategies.
InnoMatrix is responsible for research design support, data collection infrastructure, and analytical expertise, working in close cooperation with academic researchers from the University of Latvia.
